they are;
7. Konosuba
Konosuba is a very interesting anime to watch big unfortunately it's part of the list because its main character 'Subaru' is incredibly weak when compared to everyone else. although he gets stronger it's not of any noticeable influence as to greatly surpass his peers.
6. I'm standing on 1,000,000 lives
this anime has a peculiar story unlike its iseki counterparts. it brings a world whereby the characters can actually return to their world but they have to complete the mission if not they will die.
the main character here is Yusuke Yotsuya and he is a really reliable character much more than anyone around him but it's safe to assume that he is just unlucky because while his teammates get jobs like swordsman and mage, he is stuck with a job as a farmer and other small jobs.
but he still finds a way to use his wits and smarts to ensure the survival of himself and his teammates.
5. Future Diary
future diary is an anime with a very good storyline. in fact its storyline is something other anime should follow as an example but its main character was just so wimpy and weak almost throughout the episodes. he had to really on Yuno for everything even pretending to love her to survive even though he had the greatest weapon.
4. Rent a girlfriend
well... the main character is not physically weak like the other characters mentioned in this list, it's just that his mindset is weak and remains weak throughout the series.
one would expect the kind of progress that would lead the main character to become a chad - person that would just be an overall better person but that was just a pipe dream to all who watched it... because it doesn't look like Kazuya would ever improve.
3. Re: Zero
Re:Zero is one good anime that gave everyone high hopes from the moment it came out but just as things go... it turns out the main character 'Subaru' remained powerless throughout the entirety of the series constantly dying over and over again without putting in an effort to fight back... his deaths are usually so quickly that he won't even be able to do anything if he saw it coming.
2. Tokyo Revengers
Tokyo revengers is another good anime with an incredibly weak main character.
Takemitchi was someone who came to the past to correct the damage that was caused by the gangs in the future but even with knowledge of the future he has neither strength nor smarts he is just there trying and failing over and over again and nothing has dawned on him to get stronger.
1. World Trigger
here we have a lowkey mainstream anime with an impossibly weak character although his fights are effective it is almost frustrating just how weak this guy actually is. he has zero quality of the main character it almost looks like him being the main character was a mistake
