Anime characters die, some deserve it and some don’t, some might even need situations worse than death because their life isn’t enough to make up for the great sins they’ve committed.  Yes, there are a few of them, but they are still there. Their sins may be large scale or small scale but in essence, it just unforgivable and cruel to a bizarre extent, these characters deserve punishment beyond what they can comprehend most painfully and cruelly possible, and even that may not be able to make up for their sins.
