well... the answer to this should be obvious since it's a point that I've been trying to buttress for quite some time now.
And it's fact, there's no shounen MC that isn't showered by luck. sure they trained, they worked hard and they've struggled in one way or the order but is that enough to make you that strong? or let me rephrase that; is it enough to bring you to a level above others?
mention them
midoriya, Luffy, Asta, Goku, Naruto, and many more.
Midoriya was born quirkless but still somehow got one of the strongest quirk in the entire series. his own struggle was to work hard to make the quirk his own.
In Luffy's case, he eats a fruit that basically affects how he fights, without his devil fruit there are definitely some fights that luffy would not have won. them we now find out that the fruit is a least the most OP devil fruit in the series. His own struggle was to work to train his devil fruit and make it as strong as it is today.
Asta is one character that people refuse to accept the fact that he is lucky 🍀.
think of it, just having the five-leaf grimoire is sufficient luck on its own. sure he worked hard to train that's why he is able to use the grimoire to that extent but just think of how lucky he is to get the freaking strongest grimoire in the entire series.
besides the 1st leaf signifies faith, the 2nd leaf signifies hope, the 3rd leaf signifies love, the 4th leaf signifies Luck and the 5th leaf signifies a demon
Goku was born into a superior race, while Naruto had a demon inside him and he was the child of prophecy.
so you see just how big a factor link plays to these characters, think what if midoriya never got one for all, or asta never got his grimoire, or Goku was born a human? these characters would never amount to anything if not for the huge amount of luck the enjoyed.
