jojo's bizarre adventure: top 10 strongest stand

the world of Jojo's bizarre adventure is vast... it is an anime created by Hirohiko Araki and I'm indeed a great fan of his work.

 Jojo characters are many and possess a different kinds of abilities but some of these abilities are better than others. as the saying goes "we can't all be the best" 

the use of stand appeared in Jojo's part 3: stardust crusaders and from that moment we're introduced to a whole new world of stands. 

stands can vary in various ways like looks and characteristics but it's the users that determine if he'll be victorious in a battle or not. 

some powers are just better than others but some characters can outsmart others and secure a perfect victory.

but today we'll be looking into the top 10 strongest stands from Jojo's bizarre adventure.

without further ado, here they are;

10. METTALICA

Metallica is a stand used by Risotto Nero, it is a stand with the ability to manipulate Iron. it may sound petty but Risotto used this stand to its fullest potential. Iron is one of the most common elements on the surface of the earth, mineral, plant, fruit, and even humans all possess iron as an element. 

 Risotto uses his stand in assassination. and he can freely control iron within the blood of a person; this is seen when he made doppio vomit razor blade and almost killed him with iron deficiency anemia (that's the Medical term for it) 

9. KILLER QUEEN

killer queen is a stand belonging to Yoshikage Kira, the major antagonist of the Jojo part 4: diamond is unbreakable

killer queen is a stand that uses explosion, though it may not be as strong in physical combat as other stands in the series but its set of powers helps it prevail.

it can change anything it touches (living or inanimate objects) into a bomb that can be detonated manually. it can also create near invisible condensed air bubble-like bombs that detonate on contact

another killer queen's attack is the "sheer heart attack" which involves a turtle-like device that originates from killer queen's left hand. this turtle is an indestructible automatic bomb that operates on its own by seeking out the warmest object or person within its vicinity and producing an explosion equal to the heat.

and finally, we have killer queen's thirds bombing ability... Bites the dust.

 bites the dust is an evolved stand born from the desire for Kira's identity to remain hidden. it is a stand that acts on its own and is often referred to as a requiem-type stand.

 the stand is activated when Kira's identity is spoken or written or if any stand user sees the miniature killer queen; it enters into the eye of its victim and causes an explosion killing the person but then creating a time loop that reverses time to about one hour before death: anybody killed by notes the dust is now destined to die at the same time even if bites the dust is not activated.

8. THE HAND

the hand is a stand owned by Okuyasu Nijimura in diamond is unbreakable. 

this stand is a close combat stand that rivals crazy diamond in terms of strength but doesn't compare when it comes to speed. it has the special ability to erase anything from the universe be it physical matter or space itself. when space is erased the resulting voided space would be unable to maintain itself and thus reality is stitched up. he refers to this as teleportation: as he can remove the space between himself and an object or person thereby bringing himself closer or bringing the object closer to him.

7. NOTORIOUS BIG

honestly speaking, this stand is one of the most troubling stand in the entire series. if the situation was even a bit different from what originally happened, they would have all died. 

  notorious BIG is a stand that activates when its user dies using his grudge as fuel.

    what makes this stand so troublesome is the fact that it can detect motion and absorb whatever attacks

  it's virtually nigh-indestructible: meaning that whatever attack they could possibly throw against it would be utterly futile. it grows bigger as it absorbs more substance. 

it prioritizes the fastest thing.

   meaning that if you were to be in the presence of this stand, you won't be able to run away, because moving away just makes you the target. 

6. STAR PLATINUM/ THE WORLD

these stands are owned by Jotaro Kujo and Dio Brando respectively. they are kind of the same stand but differ greatly in appearance. 

 star platinum first appeared to be a stand with incredible physical prowess being able to catch a bullet at point blank. it's an unrivaled stand when it comes to speed and strength. 

  things changed for the better when we met Dio and his stand  'the world'. we found out that star platinum has the same ability as The world's meaning that they could stop time for a particular amount of time (~5sec) it may seem small but this time is long enough to inflict damage and kill other characters or even come up with escape strategies. it is indeed an overpowered stand.

5. KING CRIMSON

King Crimson is the ability of Diavlo and his split personality, Doppio that he commands as an unknown boss.

  King Crimson has the ability to erase time and predict the future.

 when the ability of time erasure is used only Diavolo is conscious of this change and can freely change his actions. those within the range of his attack have no memory of whatever happened within the erased time and would continue to act as they would've. 

 the ability to predict the future can only see as far as 10 seconds into the future and are 100% fated to happen.

4. HEAVENS DOOR

ok, I'll have to admit the creator has always been creative with the names he gives these stands. and this is not an exception.

  Heaven's door the stand of Rohan kishibe featured in diamond is unbreakable. it is the ability that allows him to turn people into books and edit parts of their life or will, let me expatiate; the stand allows him to see the history of a person's life history and all their significant encounters. it can also write on those pages and do suck such as erase memories and even issue a written command or order that cannot be disobeyed.

3. GOLD EXPERIENCE REQUIEM

is an evolved form of the stand possessed by Giorno Giovanna, gold experience. it was made after piercing his stand with the stand arrow.

  it is a stand with its consciousness and it has the ability to reduce anything to zero which means it can undo anything and hence nullify abilities.

 'return to zero' is the strongest ability of GER and it is the ability to return something to the state of zero to the extent that it doesn't exist. if an opponent is killed by GER the opponent will continue to experience death repeatedly but will continuously return to zero only to die again. 

 it also has increased physical abilities that are incomparable to other stands; it can shoot rubble such that it is invisible to the human eye and can even destroy parts of buildings. 

2. MADE IN HEAVEN

the stand is owed by Enrico Pucci. made in heaven is an evolved stand following C-moon and is not a stand that relies on physical attributes like strength but boasts of its incredible abilities.

   it has the ability of time acceleration which is gotten from its ability to manipulate the gravitational forces of the earth, moon, and seemingly the entire universe.

  apparently it can accelerate time until the universe reached a sort of a vanishing point whereby a new universe is created where everything goes according to fate where Pucci himself deems fit.

1. The WORLD OVER HEAVEN 

although this is cannon, it shows the scenario where Dio defeats the Joester's and attains heaven. 

this stand has the ability the overwrite anything in reality and it possesses the original ability of time stop.
