one piece has a wide variety of characters with different abilities and potential. but these powers they possess often tend to be exaggerated far more than what is depicted in the original anime/manga series.
one major thing that I've noticed is how exaggerated their speed is.
these may just be my opinions but hear me out; laser attacks don't travel at light speed, at least not according to the context of the anime. I understand that there are many fast characters in the one piece series especially Kizaru who was mentioned to be at the speed of light. other than that, I don't think any other character moves at the speed of light.
having light speed reaction is a different thing completely from moving at light speed.
Luffy is not light speed
as I've said earlier... some might say because he easily evaded laser attacks from the Pasifista, he is light speed but that is entirely false. Originally...IRL, laser attacks travel at light speed but according to the context of the anime that laser attack wasn't light speed, if it was so then only people like puffy, zoro, and a few others would have noticed that he dodged an attack but that was not so. ordinary people were able to notice that he evaded the attack.
Lightning speed
Again... I'll bring to you guys this fact "there's no such thing as lightning speed"
I keep on hearing kinds of stuff like while Kizaru can move at light speed, Enel can move at lightning speed which is false because lightning is light 💡
yeah... you heard me.... lighting is light.
Scientifically, lighting is a visible flash of blue and white light.
therefore that's why I said that these anime at times do not follow real-world parameters, although they might try to but it's not entirely accurate.
If Enel travelled at lightning speed, he would be just as fast as Kizaru.
