Have you ever found yourself captivated by the journey of an anime character, as the¬ir story seems to reflect your own reality? Anime goes beyond its visual appeal and intricate plotlines; it beautifully mirrors the diverse experiences of humanity. 1. The Essence of Anime: Character Development Anime embodies the essence of personal growth, setting it apart from other forms of storytelling. As much as we enjoy the great fights, storylines, and plots in anime, there’s no dismissing the fact that anime characters too make mistakes. At one point or the order, the anime characters made the wrong decisions or made fatal mistakes; some might be pitiful and some might just be plain foolish but the fact is that they all made mistakes in their decision, choices of words, or actions.
5. ACE – turning around to fight akainu
Ace is an extremely loved character both in the anime and in the real world. His death was so painful not just because of him himself but because of the influence it had on luffy; it was painful just witnessing luffy lose consciousness of reality after realizing his brother had died. but still, we all know that what ace did was plain stupid. He didn’t realize the pain luffy went through in Impel down just to rescue him, Luffy almost died, many of the white beard pirate alliance were killed off just to rescue him and he threw it all away all because of his ego. He failed to realize what his death would mean. In his attempt to prove the worth of white beard but evidently brought about his failure by the actions that led towards his death.
4. MIDRIYA IZUKI – Deku doesn’t save Eri
Eri is a 6-year-old girl, who had been abused and mistreated almost her entire life, because of her quirk she had been used for experiments in order to develop a drug that can make the average person quirk less. When Deku first met her, only a touch from his hand was able to move her to tears; he knew that she was in some kind of danger but yet he refused/hesitated to help her. If only he had saved her then the mission to defeat chisaki would have been a lot easier and with a lot fewer casualties.
3. VEGETA/GOKU – Vegeta allows Cell to reach his full potential while Goku gives Cell a Senzu bean
Dragon ball is full of useless characters; their own is not even a mistake, it's plain stupidity. First of all, Vegeta, just because he had achieved a new form he allowed his ego to completely cloud his thought, he allowed cell to achieve his true form and even offered up the android to him. The painful thing was that after everything he still got his ass whopped. Then we have Goku…he gave his enemy a senzu bean. I’ve been wondering what all these dragon ball characters are smoking because it seems that they can’t make a reasonable decision. Goku gave cell a senzu bean after he had been weakened and then brought his son the share in the family beating. It may have been considered noble but it’s just unreasonable and that’s a fact.
2. YAGAMI LIGHT – hiring Mikami as an assistant
Mikami is someone light hired, he also had the same point of view as Kira and holds a quite similar sense of justice as to that of light. But still, he wouldn’t have been defeated if not for Mikami. He already had full confidence that Mikami would have written the names of those in the warehouse that was when he said ‘I’ve won.
1. LELOUCHE – jokingly tells Euphie to kill the Japanese
Amongst all the flaws listed here, this is what I’ll refer to as a true mistake. It was just sad when he realized that he had commanded her to kill the Japanese. The reason being that his geass went out of control and the timing couldn’t be any more wrong. He knew he made a mistake even though he wasn’t at fault and took responsibility for his action.
