TOP 5 CHARACTERS THAT LIVED UP TO THEIR HYPE

 


Anime has always been known to introduce characters beforehand, giving them the necessary hype and the perfect ground to display the overwhelming power they possess. But that is not always the case, as some characters are overhyped and then ends up not being able to carry the weight of the power he/she supposed to. In short I’m saying there are characters who were not as strong as we expected them to be, but there are some who even exceeded our expectations and these characters are;

1.       ENDEAVOR



Yes, endeavor was a character who displayed and outstanding strength just like the others but the most appealing thing about it was that no one even expected him to be that strong. He completely blew my mind and this was during his fight in season 4 the last episode.

    Back to the topic, endeavor was able to display strength that no one believes he will be able to not even the citizens of japan believed in him.

When allmight lost his powers and his position as the number one hero and symbol of peace, there needed to be a new symbol of peace, and that was the duty of endeavor who was newly assigned as the number one hero, but was still no symbol of peace. Endeavor had to prove himself to be the symbol of peace with a bloody and hot-blooded battle. The battle was so intense that his flame shone like the sun while he was fighting and finally ended the battle with a shout ‘plus ultra’.

 

2.       EDWARD NEWGATE



Edward newgate popularly known as ‘whitebeard’ is a one piece legend and the former strongest man in the world. Him being the strongest man in the world was one of the greatest hype in one-piece history and he did better than we expected. In the marinefold arc, he showed great feats such as;

-          He created two massive tidal waves with one blow

-          Smash through aokiji and his attacks

-          Destroys a giant’s weapon and head

-          Shattered two massive walls of ice

-          Dents a massive wall made specifically for people like him

-          Breaks out of a block of ice

-          Blocks akainu’s larvae punch

-          Shatters the fortress at marinefold

-           Split the ground while delivering a devastating blow to akainu

He died standing after 267 sword wounds, 152 gun wounds, 46 cannon shots and he never got a wound on his back because he never turned back to run away. TRULY A LEGEND, unlike buggy.

 

3.       ULQUIORRA CIFER



Ulquiorra is the espada no. 4, in the anime series ‘bleach’ he was hyped in lots of ways in the espada arc and just as the others, he didn’t fail us, in fact his strength was baffling, he made ichigo look like a weakling. This is exactly what he said

 “you are a fool, ichigo kurasaki. To challenge an opponent whose strength is worlds beyond yours, yet you dream of victory. It is beyond my comprehension. If it is due to what you humans call a heart…. then it is because ‘heart’ that you will lose your life”.

From this statement you will understand the level of his strength and his vast number of abilities. Abilities which includes; superhuman physical characteristics, expert swordsman, expert hand-to-hand combatant, pseudo flight, true flight, spiritual awareness (can see spiritual beings), extrasensory perception, longevity, energy projection, statistics amplification, dimensional travel, portal creation, regeneration, energy weapon creation, transformation, soul manipulation, special manipulation, invisibility and many others.

And despite having all these abilities this was not his true form. He had a greater form which could rank him far above any other espada.

 

4.       NAGATO (PAIN)



Nagato is a character from the famous anime series ‘Naruto’. He is a member and the leader of the akatsuki’s. He is one known anime character thought to have suffered a great deal. Unlike many other anime villains, Nagato seeks peace but he believes that the world must know true pain in order for it to be peaceful, he uses a move called the six path of pain, Nagato is great puppeteer although not as known as the other puppeteers in Naruto. He was able to defeat most of kohona’s greatest ninjas with his puppets while he stayed safe in his base. He fought against kakashi, killed a legendary sanin (jiraya) and virtually almost defeated Naruto. Chibaku tensai is an intimidating ability, but pain’s is completely gargantuan. Using the ability, he can create a large asteroid in the sky, trap enemies, threaten villages and deconstruct the earth around him. Just based on looks alone it is terribly looming.

 

5.       JIREN



If I’m permitted to say this…, I would say Jiren is the one whose power baffled all those who encountered it. From the very beginning of the tournament of power we knew who Goku’s real opponent was going to be, and he didn’t let us down. He completely defeated Hit and withstood hits from opponents like it was nothing. That proud attitude of not wanting to bother with weak opponents puts him over the top. His fight with Goku was so good that it took more than two tries to take him down and each of those tries contain a power up (ultra-instinct) that even gods found it difficult to master. It took the combined effort of Goku, friezer, and android 17 to take him down. And for the record…. they didn’t defeat him, they only pinned him down and went down with him, that alone shows how strong an opponent he is.

Deku's new look; a new turning point in my hero academia

Well...the manga's of my hero academia has shown us a new look at Deku. This new look has a mixture of the looks of grand Torino, stain, and obviously his dressing.  The truth is that we know that when Deku fights to protect something, he always does even at the cost of destroying his own body. As we've seen in virtually all his battles were he fights a villain and pushes his ideals non-stop.  But that has come to an end as deku fails to protect his classmates against all for one. This left him broken and torn, because he was thinking that it was his fault his classmates got severely injured but he has forgotten the fact that his classmates are also heroes and they are ready to to put their lives on the line to protect others. Anyways.....deku then, feeling a sense of defeat decided to leave U.A academy in other not to exposed others to danger.  He then becomes rogue and is now searching for all for one.

What is the strongest anime ability

there are a lot of anime characters with different kinds of abilities and there's one thing we know, and that is; these abilities can be overpowered to a great extent.  in your opinion what do you think is the greatest anime ability, super strength? super speed? time travel? Or maybe pure muscle power from gruesome workout ?  no. in my opinion the fact that an ability can be quantified with an English word means that it is not the strongest.  ok... some of you might not agree with that but hear me out. MOMONOSUKE’S FULL POTENTIAL

The strength rating of one piece characters can vary exponentially, there are characters who appear to be extremely weak but yet turn out to be strong like chopper, Robin, name although she uses weapons. There are also characters that were weak at first but later became strong after all luffy wasn’t exactly strong when he met Ace and Sabo, and I believe Momonosuke will spout in strength. why is blue lock the best anime of 2022, I have one answer to that... tournament.  yes, tournament. blue lock has brought out a highly competitive environment for soccer.  it features a game where there will not only be competitions between each team but also between team members.  Every major character has their strength and the main character is not given some kind of godly ability that is overpowered. if you look at it, it has the same vibe as the basketball anime Kuroko no basketball and that's why people still refer to it as the best sports anime.  an anime should have a way to engage its audiences; at times it's through comedy, fan service, or even through the story but in blue lock's case it's through a godly tournament-like action. one other thing blue lock has that's better than most anime currently is its panels. Lookism chapter 423; the arrival

Ok, lookism has always been a masterpiece but today's chapter has once again proven it's superiority. For quite some time we haven't been seeing the members of the supposed group of friends and frienemies. But today we've finally gotten a whiff of action.  It's time to see the result of their training,  They all came back in one way or another different from their previous selves. Vasco came back with far more "hardware" than he previously possessed ,he's grown beards but one thing we don't know is how far he has progressed in his martial art. Zack on the other hand looks more of a pretty boy than he ever was but he isn't to be undermined because with just sight alone his foe was able to see the shocking superiority to his former self.  But the most awaited, Daniel Park. Baki vs Mikey; a laughable comparison 🤣

It really ridiculous that people actually believe Mikey from Tokyo revenge can compare against Baki....mikey is just some kid who barely know how to hold his own. there is absolutely nothing that mikey could do that would damage Baki. if I'm not exaggerating....i would say no person in Tokyo revenge can beat baki even when going all against one.   Baki is on a whole different level from most anime characters and he is far above the league of Mikey, in speed, strength and brutality.    you can't compare a guy who can contend against the strongest being on earth with the head of a small gang. it would be a complete massacre.

One piece; Robin's devil form- another haki user emerges

The recent chapter of one piece has not ceased to amaze. And the most intriguing thing in the chapter is that we get to see one of the straw hats unlock a new ability. One might expect luffy, or Zoro, or any one of the major fighters in the crew but Oda just proved to us that each member of the crew is as fitting to be a member of the crew of the pirate king.    We see in the fight of Robin against Maria when the tides of the battle changes turn in favor of Maria; Robin had just brought out a huge version of herself, much like how she springs out body parts. Maria stated out that the version of herself that she sprung out makes out for a better punching bag, she saw that the physical damages to the parts that Robin sprung up also affected her. She then stated that she has fighting experience as she rushed in with lots of blows on Robin.    Robin took so much damage that she had to retract her abilities, thereby making Maria think she was about to run away.     Maria lashed out at Robin

Boruto; Naruto next generation-naruto's baryon mode explained

In the recent boruto manga, we've seen Naruto's new transformation, the bayron mode.      Today I'm going to be explaining the baryon mode. According to the manga the baryon mode is likened to nuclear fusion. This is brought by the fusion of kuruma's chakra and Naruto's, this fusion require Naruto's chakra as a base.     The new baryon mode greatly increases the speed and strength of Naruto to the extent that he began to beat the pull out of ishiki, but great powers comes at a cost. It decreases Naruto's life. That means that after Naruto uses this mode he is guaranteed to die.      As kuruma explained; the baryon mode reduces the life span of ishiki each time he takes a hit from naruto but at the same time also reduces Naruto's life span. It was a gamble due to the fact that ishiki body could not handle the energy he carries and he needed to find a new host.
