Anime has introduced sporting in different ways, it has made sports itself more popular than it actually is.
If you love sports, then be sure to stick around because I'll be giving sport anime recommendations. In this post there'll be both indoor and outdoor sports, so don't rule anyone out.
Note; I'll be giving these recommendations from the list of animes that I've completed, so there'll be no Prince of tennis.
Without further ado, here are top 10 sport anime
1. KUROKO NO BASKETBALL
this is my very best sport anime and one of the best anime I've seen. It made me a complete basketball fan.
The basketball moves are so good that it looks doable, and it will get you practicing.
This anime tells of a boy, who was the phantom six man of the generation of miracles; an elite/unbeatable/undefeated team made up of members who has mastered their points and roles till perfection.
Kuroko goes to a school, not so solid in basketball, there he meets kagame, a boy set on defeating all members of the generation of miracles.
Kuroko is the shadow, kagame is the light. Together they will take serin high to the championships.
Kuroko no basketball_the basketball which Kuroko plays.
2. HAJIME NO IPPO
This anime is a perfect mix of sport and pure fights. It is the kind of anime for people like me who digs action anime.
It has a great character development, soundtrack and storyline.
This is the story of Ippo, a boy who went from being bullied to being a pro boxer. Watch and experience the thrill/ back to back action of 🥊 boxing.
3. SLAM DUNK
Unlike Kuroko no baskete this one is quite original, there is no one pulling out a nearly impossible basketball move, but this anime also has it's good side. When I started it, the only reason I continued was because it cracked me up, yes this anime is comedy and sporting genre.
The story revolves around a boy, hanamichi, a former delinquent who took on basketball just to impress a girl without knowing that he is a genius. He learns basketball really quickly with the urge to beat rukawa, his so called rival. Together they will carry their team to the championship and beyond.
4. HAIKYUU!!
This anime is about volleyball, there aren't many volleyball anime, infact this is the only volleyball anime I've heard of, that makes it somewhat special.
It has great animation, and an even better soundtrack.
The story revolves around a boy who is too short in a game that height is needed. But he trains himself in speed and jumping.
It's one of the most popular sport anime of all time
5. CHIHAYAFURU
This is a quite the uncommon sporting genre, most of you don't even know this game but chihayafuru proved that anime can make even the most Littles things make a big impact.
Well, let me explain this game a little more; I'm this game two people try to grab a piece of paper immediately it is read. It doesn't sound like much but it is. The players have to cram the positions of 100 cards and the writings on them.
In this anime a girl, chihaya, struggles to become queen of karuta while trying to catch up to her friend Arata.
When you watch it....be sure to tell me what you think.
6. HINOMARUZUMUO
Even I never expected an anime about sumo wrestling. Formerly, I thought it was just some fat sweaty guys rubbing off on each other.
But this is completely different, it also has that pure action and terror that anime gives.
In this anime I learnt that sumo is a lot more than it seems. Besides, just try watching 2-3 episodes, you'll never be able to stop. It's just that kind of anime.
This story is about a boy who has a dream of becoming a yokuzan, but he is greatly disadvantaged in height. With pure training and guts he is able to over power those 3× his size.
7. AHIRU NO SORA
this is the third basketball anime on this list. This is also a sport/comedy anime genre but unlike slam dunk it shows the reality of 🏀 basketball. Not all things turn out great.
This anime is a out a boy who is very short but decided to remove that weakness. She struggles to be the shooting guard and point guard. He plays with an amature team in a school that has no support for basketball.
It may look sad, but it has it's funny side. It also has great soundtrack and Animation.
8. MEGALO BOXING
This anime features futuristic boxing that involves the use of boxing gears. A guy from the hoodlums who has great talent in boxing but lake the opportunity. Made a decision to rise to the top.
9. YURI ON ICE
Yuri on ice is an anime like no other, it has incredible background music, and plot but it doesn't really have that grueling action.
It is about a boy who with the help of his role model and mentor aims for the top I'm his ice skating career.
10. ALL OUT
This anime is about 🏉 rugby, this one I not as good as the animes listed before it, due to the fact that the story lacks that epic anime moment but it is still an anime you got to watch.
A short amature picks Intrest in rugby. Together with the team they will go all out against any opponent they face.
These are anime recommendations for you, feel free to add your opinions
