15 strongest Naruto characters of all time

Almost all the major characters in the Naruto series use extremely powerful jutsu but some character has shown promise.

   Different clans uses different kind of jutsu, but the mastery of these jutsu is what is truly exceptional.

     Here the citeria for the classification is based on ninjutsu, taijutsu and genjutsu.

So the strongest characters in Naruto are:

       1. Kaguya ōtutsuki

Kaguya is the mother to the sage of six path, and the sole founder of chakra, she posses god like powers which includes levitation or flight, control over nature, teleportation through dimensions, regeneration and even telepathy. Needless to say, she also posses rinnegan, byakugan and sharingan, she can also turn people into white zetsu slaves, amongst all that she has an orb(truth seeking orb) that can feasibly wipe out existence.

      2. Naruto uzamaki

And here is our main protagonist, Naruto, though he started out weak his evolution was tremendous, he mastered the rasengan in three month, the same move that took a hokage three years to complete. He also posses the power of the nine tail fox that grants him great amount of chakra, he specializes in shadow clone jutsu and uses it to confuse his enemy in battle. He can summon toad, and most of all he mastered sage mode and uses the power of the sage of six path. All these plus his motto to "never give up" makes him a force to be reckoned with.

      3. Sasuke Uchiha

Sasuke is somewhat the best friend and rival of Naruto uzamaki. Growing up as the sole survivor in the uchiha clan, he lived his life with the quest for power, and that power he did get. After killing his brother he unlocked the mangyeko sharingan, during the fourth great ninja war, he was also granted the power the power of the sage of six path. He can switch places with his Target and fire a lightning bolt filled with demonic chakra from his full body susanoo 

      4. Hashirima senju(the first hokage) 

Hashirima senju is the first hokage and is popularly known as the "god of shinobi". He is from the seju clan and it is believed that no living being in that era that match his power in any form. He possesses the eternal mangyekō sharingan and control over the nine tail demon fox, kurama, after being resurrected he was able to easily resist orochimaru's summoning and use sage mode. He uses wood style jutsu, which is a combination of water and earth, with his wood technique he can create clones, huge wood monsters, forests he can even alter the whole plane of the battleground.

      5. Madara Uchiha

Madara is the sub-antagonist of the Naruto series and the rival to the first hokage, he possesses various abilities which includes: eternal mangyekō sharingan which allows him to use perfect susanoo, shattered heaven technique which can send meteors on an opponent, Endo tensai which can restore himself to full potential. During the long run he unlocked the rinnegan using the cells of the first hokage, he even became the tenth tail jinchuriki, and when that tenth tail is combined with rinnegan he can trap the whole world in an illusion (infinite tsukuyomi).

      6. Minato namikaze

Minato is known as "child of progress" or the "saviour of the world". He is so strong that he single handedly wipe out an entire army and during the third ninja war a "flee on sight" warrant was issued on him. He possesses various jutsu and techniques, he uses nature transformation of fire, wind, lightning and even yin and yang gates, he developed the rasengan and can detect chakra from long range. He uses barrier ninjutsu, flying thunder good technique, eight trigams sealing style, shurikenjutsu, space-time ninjutsu and was known as the fastest shinobi of his time.

      7. Obito uchiha

Obito was presumed to be dead during his younger days after being crushed by a boulder. He was revived using the cells of the first hokage and could use wood style. Being a member of the uchiha clan, he developed his mangyekō sharingan after seeing his crush killed by his best friend. He later developed  his rinnegan eye which gave him access to the sage of six path chakra. He was so strong that even after his death he still played a huge role in the defeat of kaguya. 

      8. Nagato(pain)

Pain is a character from the village hidden in the mist. He was trained in ninjutsu at a very young age by jiraya. He was transplanted with the rinnegan eye, he can use all five nature's of chakra manipulation and can spy through the rain. Amongst all his abilities he can also control gravity, summon giant animals, absorb chakra, controls souls and turn into a weaponized cyborg. He is also the killer of jiraya and the destroyer of the leaf village.

      9. Itachi uchiha

Itachi is the prodigy of the uchiha clan, being so good that he got his mangyekō sharingan at his teen, he was assigned a secret mission to stop his clan from a coup, therefore he killed his whole clan(except his little brother), then left the village as a criminal.

   Being such a prodigy, he has never un-intentionaly lost a battle, even his battle leading to his death was intentional. His powers include: illusion(genjutsu), blend into a flock of crows, incredible fire style and the mangyekō sharingan which gave him the ability to do torturous illusion sukuyami, unqenchable black fire of amaratsu & his insanely strong susanoo.

     10. Might guy

This is one of the extremely few ninja that specializes in physical attacks, he uses his chakra flow in different ways, he mainly unlocks the gate. When the gate is unlocked he is given immense amount of speed and strength, he is the master to rock Lee, neji and ten ten. Might guy is the only known person in the shinobi world to survive after unlocking all the gate. He was so strong and fast that he moved at speed that was difficult for even Madara to comprehend, to the extend he was declared a worthy opponent.

      11. Kakashi hatake

Kakashi is a refined ninja and a rival to might guy, kakashi has some complex moves due to his ninjutsu and taijutsu training, kakashi was given the sharingan eye by his best friend who was inevitably crushed by a boulder, he used that eye in series of skill, due to the power of the sharingan eye he could copy other moves, he then became known as the copy ninja but even though he still developed his own move, the chidori, which he taught Sasuke.

 He later developed his mangyekō sharingan which lets him wrap object between dimensions. Kakashi was what we refer to as a genius with great fighting technique, his role in the fourth great ninja war gave the title of hokage.

     12. Jiraya

Jiraya or pervy sage as we all know him, he is the master to naruto, jiraya is one of the three legendary sanin, a team of ninjas considered unbeatable, he is a master to both the fourth hokage, seventh hokage and the leader of the akatsuki's(pain). Jiraya is the only person to turn down the role of hokage.

    He can summon the great toad chiefs, and can use sage mode by fusing with the toad. He was later killed by one of his students.

      13. Lady Tsunade

Lady tsunade is a descendant of the first hokage and another one of the three legendary sannin, meaning she is in one of the most powerful clan but unfortunately she wasn't cut out for battle. She then used her skill for medical ninjutsu, she has incredible control of chakra as she can heal even the slightest cut.

She divert her chakra to certain limbs which enhances her physical strength thus making her monstrous, she possesses mitotic regeneration which allows her to speed her cell regeneration allowing her to instantly heal wound, she can also summon slugs for assistance, she is known to have broken through madara's supposedly impenetrable defense and she earned herself the role of fifth hokage.

     14. Gaara

Gaara began as a sadistic ninja that can manipulate sand, he became a jinchuriki almost from time of birth and have lived in isolation does a very long time. Being a jinchuriki the one tail demon in him continuously wispered violent advice to him. He could simply engulf his opponent in sand and then crush them to death instantly. It is also seen that his sand has life and will protect him whenever danger approaches.

      15. Orochimaru

Orochimaru is another one of the legendary sannin, he betrayed the leaf village and left for his ambition to attain immortality. He can use all five chakra natures and can summon giant snakes, create snake clones and turn to a snake he also uses a curse mark that can grant it's user power.
